    An AI assistant is only as good as the context it can see. MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the standard that lets one read your design files, briefs and brand rules with your permission, and only where you grant it.

    Every connection below is authorised by you, scoped to what you choose, and revocable from the provider's own settings. WFX2 Digital never stores your credentials.

    Figma

    Desktop MCP

    Figma exposes design context through a local MCP server that runs inside Figma Desktop with Dev Mode. It isn't available as a hosted connection, so it's set up on your machine rather than here.

    1. 1.Open Figma Desktop and enable Dev Mode MCP in Preferences
    2. 2.Point your AI client (Lovable Desktop, Claude, Cursor) at the local MCP server
    3. 3.Select a frame in Figma before asking your assistant about it

    No desktop app? Export a frame as PNG or SVG and upload it with your brief instead.

    Notion

    Remote MCP with OAuth

    Notion publishes a hosted MCP server. Once authorised, an assistant can read the briefs, brand rules and feedback pages in the workspaces you approve — and nothing else.

    1. 1.Authorise the Notion MCP server with your own Notion account
    2. 2.Choose exactly which pages or databases to share
    3. 3.Revoke access from Notion's connections settings at any time

    Access is scoped to your account. We never see your Notion tokens or content.

    Google Drive

    Remote MCP with OAuth

    Drive is where most approved artwork actually lives. Connecting it lets an assistant find the right file version instead of asking you to dig one out.

    1. 1.Authorise Drive access with your Google account
    2. 2.Grant read access to the folders that hold the project
    3. 3.Revoke it from your Google account permissions page whenever you like

    Large print files stay in Drive — only file metadata and text content are read.
